Required Skills:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification in relevant state/state-recognized jurisdiction
- Proven experience in gastroenterology or related specialty
- Strong knowledge of digestive system disorders, diagnostics, and treatment protocols
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and documentation procedures
- Compassionate patient communication and education skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience performing procedures such as endoscopies or colonoscopies
- Additional certifications in gastrointestinal care or advanced practice skills
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology or a similar setting
- Licensure in good standing and relevant specialty certifications
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel occasionally for training or clinics, if applicable
- Valid state healthcare provider licensure and certifications
- Commitment to maintaining up-to-date licensure and continuing education requirements
