Required Skills:
- Valid and active license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Proven experience in gastroenterology or a related specialty
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of current GI treatments, diagnostic tools, and patient management protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with endoscopic procedures
- Additional certifications in advanced gastroenterology practices
- Bilingual capabilities or multilingual proficiency
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology strongly preferred
- Relevant board certification (e.g., NCCPA, AANP)
Other Requirements:
- Must hold valid state licensure and certification for practice
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development
- Ability to travel to satellite clinics or continuing education events as needed
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
