Required Skills:
  • Valid and active license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Proven experience in gastroenterology or a related specialty
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and procedural skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of current GI treatments, diagnostic tools, and patient management protocols

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience with endoscopic procedures
  • Additional certifications in advanced gastroenterology practices
  • Bilingual capabilities or multilingual proficiency
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology strongly preferred
  • Relevant board certification (e.g., NCCPA, AANP)

Other Requirements:
  • Must hold valid state licensure and certification for practice
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development
  • Ability to travel to satellite clinics or continuing education events as needed
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
