We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity begins on Nov 24, 2025, for a 159-day contract, offering day shifts Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of gastroenterology experience, an active NY license, and active BLS certification. Familiarity with EPIC is highly preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive gastroenterology patient care under physician supervision
- Conduct patient assessments and physical examinations related to gastroenterology
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Document all patient interactions and care plans accurately
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to all facility protocols and regulatory requirements
Additional Information
- Must have at least 3 years of gastroenterology experience as outlined on CV
- Active NY license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- EPIC experience highly preferred
- Board certification in gastroenterology required
