Position Highlights
- 7pm to 7am schedule
- Acute care NP certification required
- Average 4-7 admissions per night
- No procedures required
- No ICU responsibilities
- Onsite nocturnist physician support
- Dedicated intensivist teams, rapid response teams, and full specialty backup
Key Responsibilities
- Independent admissions
- Overnight cross-coverage of hospitalized patients
- Coordinate specialty consults and patient transfers as needed
- All facilities utilize Meditech EMR, feature open ICUs with dedicated intensivist support, and foster a strong interdisciplinary team approach
- An internal medicine residency program launched at St. David's Medical Center in 2026, further enhancing the academic and professional environment
