Job Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients in the emergency department
• Perform triage, stabilization, and emergency procedures as required
• Provide rapid clinical decision-making in high-pressure situations
• Collaboratively work with nurses, specialists, and support staff to deliver high-quality care
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans in the hospital's EMR
• Work in the main ER department with no dedicated fast track/express care
• Cover Provider in Triage role when volume demands
• Single PA/NP coverage working with 1-2 board-certified Emergency Medicine Physicians

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a PA/NP program
• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Michigan
• State of Michigan controlled substance license required
• Current DEA registration required
• AHA-approved BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications
• Experience in an emergency department setting with competence in performing standard emergency department procedures

• December 23rd (Orientation)
• December 24th–27th, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Potential for additional future shifts as needed
