Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Position Overview
The Nurse Practitioner will conduct OSHA medical evaluations to determine employees' physical capacity to safely wear a respirator by reviewing health history and determining medical fitness.
• OSHA Compliance: Analyze mandatory OSHA Appendix C Medical Questionnaires completed by staff members for cardiovascular, pulmonary, or neurological red flags.
• Risk Identification: Identify underlying respiratory diseases (such as COPD or severe asthma) or cardiac conditions that could lead to medical emergencies under respirator stress.
• Certification: Mandatory FNP-BC (Family Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified)
• Equipment/Software: Basic computer proficiency
