Trusted Locum Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for an outpatient Family Medicine assignment with UConn Health in Canton, CT. The practice is looking for a flexible provider with Family Medicine or Primary Care experience who can support both patient care and day-to-day clinical workflow.
Key Details
- Pay: $90/hour
- Dates: September 21 – December 21, 2026
- Start can be as soon as insurance enrollment is completed
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- 13-week assignment
- Fully onsite
- Epic experience required
- Family Medicine experience preferred, but Primary Care backgrounds considered
- Broad patient age range
- Potential for full-time employment following the assignment
- Minor holiday coverage may be required
- No previous locums experience required
Travel
- Mileage reimbursement available
Job Responsibilities
Prescription management and refills
Respond to patient messages
See acute/emergent patient visits
Hospital discharge follow-ups
Annual wellness visits as needed
Provide general outpatient Family Medicine/Primary Care support
Qualifications
Family Medicine or Primary Care experience preferred
Epic experience required
Comfortable caring for a broad patient population
Strong communication skills and flexibility within an outpatient practice
Appropriate Connecticut licensure and certifications
