Our client, one of NYC's leading community health organizations, is seeking a full-time Bilingual Spanish-speaking Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to support a newly established partnership with Medspan. This provider will be employed directly by the health organization and work from the Medspan location near Williamsburg. This is an immediate hiring need with interviews beginning as soon as qualified candidates are identified.

Position Overview

  • Full-time employed position
  • 100% outpatient setting serving patients of all ages
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Worksite located near Williamsburg, Brooklyn through a partnership
  • Standard clinic hours generally 8:00am–4:00pm or 9:00am–5:00pm
  • One rotating evening per week and one Saturday per month may be required (currently most locations operate Monday–Friday)
  • Guaranteed 40-hour work week
  • Overtime paid at time-and-a-half for hours worked beyond 40 per week
  • Opportunity to care for a diverse patient population and develop specialty interests including:

    • LARC/IUD Management
    • HIV/Hepatitis Care
    • Chronic Disease Management
    • Addiction Medicine

Requirements

  • Master's Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Bilingual Spanish required
  • Experience treating patients across the lifespan
  • Recent experience with pediatrics and women's health within the past year
  • New York State NP license, DEA, and CSR preferred (active or in process)
  • Client will not consider new graduate NPs
  • Minimum of approximately 6 months NP experience required; stronger experience preferred
