Locum Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care / Psych | Ball Ground, GA

Assignment Overview

• Location: Ball Ground, Georgia
• Dates: April 6 – April 10, 2026
• Start: Urgent (interviews ASAP)
• Setting: Residential treatment facility with outpatient program
• Schedule: Flexible, up to 20 hours total for the week
• Call: None
• EMR: BestNotes

Clinical Responsibilities

• Initial psychiatric evaluations
• Follow-ups with medication management
• Primary care support within behavioral health setting
• Work independently while collaborating with Medical Director

Patient & Facility Details

• Patient Population: Adults (18+)
• Volume:
  • ~45 inpatient (up to 54)
  • 10–15 outpatient
  • 8–10 encounters per day
• Care Model: Abstinence-based program (no MAT)
• Support Staff: Medical Director + full nursing staff
• Other Providers: Psychiatrist and PMHNP manage complex psych meds

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• DEA Required
• BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Dual certification in Psych + Primary Care (highly preferred)
• Primary Care NP acceptable if no dual-certified candidates
