Small-Town Practice with Big-System Support
Banner Health – a Top 5 Large Health System and one of the nation's premier nonprofit healthcare networks – is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Same Day Clinic team in Fernley, Nevada. Located just 30 miles east of Reno, Fernley offers small-town living with access to outdoor recreation, affordable cost of living, and no state income tax.
Position Highlights:
- Position Type: Full-time, Same Day Clinic
- Schedule: Five-day work week (Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day) – providing consistent, accessible care for our community
- Patient Population: Acute care for all ages
- Clinic Features: Fast-paced, team-oriented Rural Health Clinic (RHC) with on-site labs and X-rays, offering same-day appointments
- No call required
Requirements:
- Active DEA and prescriptive authority
- FNP or PA-C certification with Nevada licensure eligibility
- 3+ years of clinical experience (acute care experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills and team-focused approach
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
