Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with appropriate state certification
- Experience in general medicine, internal medicine, orthopedics, or related fields
- Knowledge of veterans’ healthcare needs and assessment procedures
- Ability to perform interview-based exams with physical assessment components
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and timely documentation
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with Compensation & Pension exams or veteran health assessments
- Certifications related to veteran healthcare or psychological assessments
- Familiarity with telehealth technologies
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple appointments efficiently
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Prior experience working with or understanding veteran healthcare systems
Other Requirements:
- Possession of own office within 50 miles of designated areas or willingness to work on a per diem basis at our facilities
- Willingness to travel locally; travel expenses included in rates
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities required
- Ability to complete exams independently and submit reports promptly
- Availability to start on or around March 18, 2026
