Required Skills:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
- Proven experience in general medicine or primary care settings
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Comfortable managing diverse patient cases efficiently
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in specialized areas such as family medicine or internal medicine
- Experience with telemedicine platforms
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English)
- Previous locum or temporary healthcare experience
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a general medicine setting
- Prior experience working in fast-paced or outpatient clinics is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
- Must hold a valid state license and certifications including CME credits as required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
- Willingness to adapt to varying clinic protocols and workflows
- Reliable transportation to the Houston area or within permissible radius
