Family Nurse Practitioner

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Family Nurse Practitioner and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients within an inpatient psychiatric unit. This critical role involves providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population, ranging from age 10 to the elderly, with a primary focus on adults. If you are a dedicated, board-certified FNP with a minimum of two years of experience and are licensed to practice independently in Massachusetts, we want to hear from you.

This is a full-time, intermittent weekend coverage position lasting approximately one year, with a commitment to working predominantly Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Your expertise will directly support patient recovery and well-being in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Required Skills:
  • Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC)
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  • Valid license to practice independently in Massachusetts
  • Ability to perform CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) training
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working in psychiatric or inpatient settings
  • Additional certifications related to mental health care
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited program
  • Prior experience providing care in psychiatric inpatient units or similar settings

Other Requirements:
  • Coverage required on weekends as needed
  • Willingness to work intermittent weekend shifts for approximately one year
  • Compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and facility policies
