Job description OPEN POSITION:
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) - Outpatient Primary Care


SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional Weekends (negotiable)
- No Evenings
- No Holidays
- No On-Call


OFFICE HOURS:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Saturday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Sunday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Closed Major Holidays


COMPENSATION:
- Negotiable Sign-On Bonus
- $130,000 to $150,000+ Base Salary, dependent upon experience

Yuma, Arizona


COMPANY PROFILE:
This organization is a multi-site, multi-specialty, physician-owned-and-operated private practice that has been serving patients in Yuma and the surrounding communities since 2011. They currently operate 10 offices with a staff of more than 30 providers, serving patients with primary care through internal medicine and family practice, along with 15 specialties and sub-specialties. They have in-house laboratory, ultrasound, x-ray, MRI, and more, striving to provide as many hospital-level services as possible in a convenient outpatient environment.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is an outpatient position in which the Family Nurse Practitioner will see an average of 20 to 25 patients per day, supported by dedicated assistants who room and prep patients, as well as assist during the visits as needed.

All work is within the area of general all-ages primary care. This includes, but is not limited to:

- obtain and document patient histories
- conduct physical examinations
- evaluate patients
- diagnose and treat diseases
- manage chronic illnesses
- order laboratory, radiological, and other tests as needed
- provide preventative health services, including education and counseling
- make specialist referrals when appropriate
- collaborate with other clinicians and staff to ensure continuity of care

The practice utilizes a proprietary EHR and provides full training.


REQUIREMENTS:
- Arizona NP license or eligibility
- DEA license or eligibility
- FNP certification
