Adelphi is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide services at a correctional facility in Herlong, California. The ideal candidates will provide comprehensive medical care to the inmate population while ensuring compliance with established healthcare standards.

Requirements:
- Valid, unrestricted NP license in California or Nevada
- BLS (AHA)
- Minimum 12 years of family medicine or urgent care experience
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medical and psychosocial assessments.
- Manage acute and stable chronic conditions.
- Perform physical, dental, and mental health examinations.
- Administer medications and obtain IV access.
- Provide emergency care and life-saving procedures.
- Assist in minor surgical procedures (e.g., sutures, I&Ds, cyst removals).
- Interpret diagnostic tests, labs, EKGs, radiographs.
- Prescribe treatments/medications after physician consultation.
- Document all patient interactions in electronic health records.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain professional, ethical interactions with inmates.
- Additional duties as assigned by facility.
