Locum tenens opportunity

Timeframe: May/June through August
-
Position covers half-time at one site focused primarily on substance use disorder and/or severe and persistent mental illness, and half-time at another site focused on general family medicine
-
Sites are located approximately 8 miles apart
-
Seeking a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner
-
Post-training experience required
-
FQHC setting
-
Client prefers candidates with experience caring for low-income children and families, including those in migrant and community health settings
-
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts
-
Option to work four 10-hour shifts, if preferred
-
Organization provides primary care, behavioral health, and dental services
Required Qualifications
-
Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
-
Comfort and experience with both initiation and maintenance of buprenorphine
-
Experience treating substance use disorders and severe and persistent mental illness
-
Comfortable treating all patient populations
Preferred Qualifications
-
Bilingual English/Spanish
-
Experience with hormone therapy for gender-affirming care is helpful but not required
