Compensation: $68–$75 per hour (based on experience)

Overview

A nonprofit community clinic serving underserved and uninsured patients in Southwest Washington is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA-C) to join its leadership team as Associate Medical Director.

This role combines direct patient care with clinical leadership, supporting high-quality primary care services while collaborating with nurses, volunteers, and clinic leadership to ensure effective patient management and operational support.

The position focuses on acute and chronic care management, patient education, and community-based healthcare delivery.

Job Responsibilities

Clinical Care
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory results
• Provide preventive care and patient education
• Utilize telehealth when appropriate
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation

Clinical Leadership
• Provide clinical guidance and support to medical staff and volunteers
• Assist in developing standing orders and clinical policies
• Collaborate with providers for consultations and referrals
• Serve as a point of contact for lab results and urgent follow-up care
• Support volunteer programs including immunizations, diabetes education, and hypertension education

Administrative Support
• Assist with clinic operations including volunteer scheduling and front desk coordination when needed
• Support regulatory compliance and safety standards
• Participate in quality improvement and clinic operations initiatives

Qualifications

Education & Licensure
• Licensed Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA-C) in Washington State
• Current BLS Certification
• DEA license with prescriptive authority
• Valid driver’s license

Experience
• Experience in primary care, chronic disease management, or community health
• Experience working with underserved populations preferred
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems

Working Hours

Full-Time | 30–35 Hours per Week

Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and volunteers
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
