Location: Redding, CA
Pay: $75 – $80 per hour | $600 – $640 per day
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time | Contract
Patient Volume: 3–5 per day
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) disability exams for U.S. Veterans in Redding, California.
This position focuses strictly on medical disability evaluations. Providers do not prescribe medications, treat conditions, or manage ongoing care.
Position Highlights
- Monday–Friday schedule
• No nights, weekends, or call
• Evaluation-only role (no treatment)
• Low patient volume (3–5 Veterans per day)
• Structured exam format with medical record summaries provided

Job Responsibilities
• Review Veteran medical records and history
• Perform structured in-person disability examinations
• Complete electronic documentation and medical opinions
• Submit completed reports within 24 hours
Qualifications
• Active, unrestricted California NP or PA license
• License in good standing
• Ability to work on-site in Redding, CA (must reside within 50 miles of Redding, CA)
