Nurse Practitioner – Veterans Disability Evaluations
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 annually (based on experience)
Start Date: Approximately 4–6 weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support Veterans by conducting one-time Compensation & Pension (C&P) disability evaluations. This role focuses on reviewing medical histories and performing in-person examinations to assist the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in determining disability benefits.

This is a non-treatment position with no prescribing or ongoing patient care responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review Veterans’ medical records and history

  • Conduct in-person disability examinations

  • Document findings using a secure, web-based reporting system

  • Submit completed evaluations to the Department of Veterans Affairs

Position Details

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • No weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities

  • Average of 3–5 Veteran evaluations per day

  • In-person clinical setting

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license

  • Clean background and credentialing history

  • Experience working with Veterans or military populations preferred, but not required
