Job Description:
The Nurse Practitioner (APRN) will:
- Independently perform medical acts in accordance with APRN licensure standards in an outpatient primary care setting
- Deliver leadership and consultation within the care team
- Provide education to support informed healthcare decision-making
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
- Work within the Medical Group, which includes specialties such as family practice, pediatrics, OB/GYN, cardiology, orthopedics, post-acute care, urology, and general surgery
- Collaborate with physicians, licensed providers, LPNs/medical assistants, and clerical staff
Submission Requirements
- Master’s Degree from an accredited Adult Nurse Practitioner program – [REQUIRED]
- Current Vermont APRN License (or ability to obtain) – [REQUIRED]
- Certification as Adult, Family, or Pediatric NP (national organization recognized by VT Board of Nursing) – [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
- Healthcare Provider CPR Certification – [REQUIRED]
- DEA License – [REQUIRED]
- Two years of nursing experience prior to advanced degree – [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
- Clean Malpractice History - [REQUIRED]
- Does provider require any visa support? - [REQUIRED]
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - [REQUIRED] * no exemption, required at presentation
