Family Practice Nurse Practitioner

Required Skills:
- Valid North Carolina Medical License
- Enrolled and credentialed in Medicard
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple patient assessments daily
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Reliability in adhering to scheduled hours and protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in home health care or chronic disease management
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or BLS
- Knowledge of healthcare billing and documentation procedures
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages preferred
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in North Carolina
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in family practice or similar outpatient settings
- Prior experience conducting home health assessments is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel within designated counties (Mecklenburg or Wake County)
- Reliable transportation for home visits
- Completion of 1-3 hours of paid orientation; ongoing education to be completed during downtime
- Must be available for full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (20 hours/week) schedules, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break
