Family Practice Nurse Practitioner

Required Skills:
  • Valid North Carolina Medical License
  • Enrolled and credentialed in Medicard
  • Strong clinical assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple patient assessments daily
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
  • Reliability in adhering to scheduled hours and protocols

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in home health care or chronic disease management
  • Additional certifications such as ACLS or BLS
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing and documentation procedures
  • Fluency in Spanish or other languages preferred

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in North Carolina
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in family practice or similar outpatient settings
  • Prior experience conducting home health assessments is advantageous

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to travel within designated counties (Mecklenburg or Wake County)
  • Reliable transportation for home visits
  • Completion of 1-3 hours of paid orientation; ongoing education to be completed during downtime
  • Must be available for full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (20 hours/week) schedules, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break
