Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (APRN) – Outpatient Primary Care
Location: Brattleboro, Vermont
Employment Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE, 40 hours/week)
Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000 annually
Position Overview
A community-based healthcare system in southeastern Vermont is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join an established outpatient primary care practice.
This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary medical group environment.
Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services

Independently perform medical services in accordance with APRN licensure standards

Deliver care focused on health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support teams

Provide patient and family education to support informed healthcare decisions

Participate in leadership, consultation, and care coordination within the practice

Maintain safe, efficient, and cost-effective clinical operations

Engage in continuing education and ongoing professional development
The medical group includes primary care and specialty services, allowing for strong collaboration and referral support.
Qualifications

Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Active Vermont APRN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

National certification as Adult, Family, or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (preferred)

Healthcare Provider CPR certification

DEA license (required prior to start)

Eligible for medical staff credentialing

Clean malpractice history

Two years of nursing experience prior to advanced degree (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits
