Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $150,000 – $186,000 annually (DOE, benefits eligible)

Position Summary
The Primary / Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP/PNP) provides comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, the nurse practitioner will assess, diagnose, manage, and treat acute and chronic health conditions while promoting disease prevention and health education.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations
Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
Develop individualized treatment plans and follow-up care
Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with California scope of practice
Provide patient and family education on health promotion and disease prevention
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary providers
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations
Qualifications
Required:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current California Nurse Practitioner license and RN license
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC, AANP, ANCC) or appropriate primary care NP certification
DEA registration (or ability to obtain) for controlled substance prescribing
BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS / PALS preferred
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
Commitment to patient-centered care
Preferred:
Experience in family practice, internal medicine, or outpatient primary care
Experience with EHR systems
Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish)
