Job description
Seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a structured, weekday-only primary care assignment in Altoona, Pennsylvania. This is a consistent schedule within an established clinic serving employees and their families.

Ideal for providers who value predictable hours, routine care, and a stable outpatient environment.



Assignment Overview
• Monday–Friday schedule
• 35 hours per week
• 3-month contract (extension potential)
• Start: Late April
• Coverage needed for leave of absence



Clinic Setting
• Independent family practice clinic
• Routine wellness visits
• Chronic care management
• Urgent same-day visits
• Patient population: ages 2+
• Employee-focused care model
• Athena EMR



Schedule
• Monday & Wednesday: 8a–4p (1-hour lunch)
• Tuesday & Thursday: 9a–5p (1-hour lunch)
• Friday: 7a–3p (1-hour lunch)

Client needs full 5-day coverage weekly.



Requirements
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Active Pennsylvania license
• Active DEA
• Minimum 2 years of primary care FNP experience
• Comfortable with full-scope family practice



Interview & Onboarding
• 30-minute virtual interview with Hiring Manager
• 4-hour shadow session prior to first day
• Credentialing streamlined
