Pay Rate:
$402.00 per hour, with a flat rate of $600 for half-day shifts (up to 4 hours) and $1200 for full-day shifts (5 hours or more). A one-time bonus of $650 is offered upon completion of all required training and initial exams.

Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas or eligible for licensure
- Proven experience in general medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or orthopedic surgery
- Strong interviewing and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Ability to perform interview-based exams efficiently and accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic proficiency with medical documentation and report submission
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Compensation & Pension exams or military/veteran healthcare
- Previous work in government or military healthcare settings
- Familiarity with medical certification and credentialing processes
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification in Texas
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in general or internal medicine
- Prior experience conducting P & P exams or assessments preferred but not required
Other Requirements:
- Must have own office located within 50 miles of Houston, TX if applicable
- Willingness to work on a PRN basis with flexible scheduling (half or full days)
- Availability to start by February 13, 2026
- Capable of completing administrative follow-up including report addendums and diagnostics
- Local candidates only, travel included in rates
