Location: Cedar Park, TX
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12); clinic hours 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, 7 days/week
Compensation: $60–$80/hour (based on experience) + productivity bonus
Benefits: Full benefits package available

About the Opportunity

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Cedar Park, TX. This role is ideal for clinicians who value autonomy, fast-paced clinical work, and a strong work-life balance.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Order and interpret labs and imaging
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, wound care, splinting, etc.)
• Communicate treatment plans and provide patient education
• Document care efficiently in the EHR
• Maintain productivity aligned with urgent care benchmarks

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Texas NP or PA license
• Board certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA)
• Active DEA (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• Active BLS certification
• Willingness to work rotating weekends/holidays
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain (fees covered)

Preferred Experience

• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
• Strong procedural skills
• Comfort with initial x-ray interpretation
