Position Summary
Seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner FNP to provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient clinic setting. This is an urgent need position supporting a busy practice serving patients across all age groups. The FNP will work closely with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high quality, patient centered care in a collaborative environment.
Location: Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, Corinth, Houlton, Brownville, Patten, Millinocket
Job Responsibilities
. Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
. Conduct patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
. Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
. Prescribe medications and therapies per state guidelines
. Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling
. Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care teams
. Refer patients to specialty care when needed
Qualifications
. Certified Family Nurse Practitioner FNP
. Active or eligible Maine NP license
. DEA registration or ability to obtain
. Primary care experience preferred, new graduates considered
. Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Working Hours
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
