We are seeking a full-time Family Practice Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services within a collaborative, multidisciplinary medical group environment in beautiful southern Vermont.
Position Overview:
The Nurse Practitioner (APRN) will independently provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care services in an outpatient setting, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Independently perform medical acts in accordance with APRN licensure standards
Provide comprehensive nursing and medical care to individuals, families, and groups
Focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and overall wellness
Deliver leadership and clinical consultation within the care team
Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, licensed providers, nursing staff, and clerical staff
Identify and address specialized patient and family education needs
Support informed healthcare decision-making through patient education
Maintain a safe and efficient clinical environment
Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
Identify personal learning needs and establish professional growth goals
The medical group includes specialties such as family practice, pediatrics, OB/GYN, cardiology, orthopedics, post-acute care, urology, and general surgery, providing a strong referral and collaboration network.
Requirements:
Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current Vermont APRN License (or ability to obtain)
Healthcare Provider CPR Certification
DEA License
Eligible for medical staff credentialing
Clean malpractice history
