Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Our client is a growing, non-profit healthcare organization focused on providing inclusive, high-quality care to underserved communities, with a strong emphasis on HIV care, LGBTQ+ health, Primary Care, and Behavioral Health. Services are delivered across multiple outpatient clinics in Orlando, Kissimmee, Lakeland, and the UCF area.

Our client offers the following:

  • $115,000 – $135,000 depending on experience
  • Full Benefits (Medical, Vision, Dental)
  • 401(k) with 3% match (immediate)
  • 2 weeks of PTO first year
  • Office closed in the last 2 weeks of the year
  • 6 Paid Holidays
  • 1 CME conference per year
  • No on-call
  • Relocation assistance for up to $10,000
  • Onsite position only

Requirements:

  • Current, active, and unencumbered Florida APRN license
  • Nurse Practitioner experience in Primary Care and/or HIV care
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
  • New graduates considered
  • Ability to work onsite in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Simple EMR: Tebra (CareCloud)

Responsibilities:

  • Monday – Thursday (9am – 5pm) Friday (9am – 2pm)
  • Rotating Saturday once every 3 months
  • Provide high-quality, comprehensive outpatient care to new and established patients.
  • Deliver Primary Care and HIV-focused services in a non-profit, LGBTQ+ inclusive environment.
  • Serve as a sole provider in certain clinic settings, with organizational support.
  • Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as appropriate.
  • Educate patients on wellness, prevention, and chronic disease management.
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with specialists as needed.
  • Document all patient care accurately and timely within the EMR.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and organizational programs.
  • Maintain compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Promote and uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
  • Additional Responsibilities may be required.
