Locum - Nurse Practitioner - OB/GYN Bad Axe, MI

Join our esteemed healthcare team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner specializing in OB/GYN services in Bad Axe, MI. As a key provider during your assignment, you'll support outpatient clinics, manage diverse OB/GYN procedures, and work closely with dedicated staff to uphold exemplary standards of care.

Required Skills:
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license with OB/GYN certification or specialty focused on women's health
  • Proven experience in outpatient OB/GYN care and women's health services
  • Proficiency with EHR systems, preferably Cerner
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of OB/GYN procedures and protocols

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
  • Advanced training or certifications in women's health or maternal-fetal medicine

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in OB/GYN outpatient care
  • Current, unrestricted NP licensure in Michigan

Other Requirements:
  • Immunization records including Hep B, MMR, Varicella (vaccine series or immune titer)
  • Current flu vaccination, COVID documentation, TB within 12 months, and Tdap within the last 10 years
  • Ability to travel locally for coverage, with transportation arrangements supported
  • Readiness to comply with site-specific policies, including clock-in/out via DocTime and reverse billing procedures
  • No lodging booked through third-party websites; rentals must be refueled prior to return
