Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary and urgent care services to students.
- Conduct thorough health histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnose medical conditions and develop treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications and therapies.
- Provide routine gynecologic exams and contraceptive counseling.
- Emphasize patient-centered care and timely access to services.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Educate students on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Current national certification (ANCC or AANP).
- Active, unrestricted RN and NP license in New York State.
- Minimum of 3,600 clinical practice hours or approximately 2 years full-time experience.
- Prescriptive authority and DEA eligibility required.
- Must be BLS certified.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
