Job description
Our client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide high-quality primary and acute care services in a patient-centered health care setting. This role delivers clinical care, education, and treatment consistent with the Family Nurse Practitioner Scope of Practice, as approved by the Chief Medical Officer.
Job Responsibilities
Document clinic visits, phone calls, and verbal patient interactions accurately and timely in patient charts
Review and follow up on laboratory and diagnostic test results
Deliver care based on evidence-based clinical protocols reviewed annually by the CMO
Consult with and refer patients to Health Center physicians and external providers as needed
Attend provider and staff meetings, trainings, and conferences related to clinic practice
Participate in an evening/weekend on-call rotation (approximately once every 8 weeks)
Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
Massachusetts license to practice in the expanded nursing role
Possess or be eligible to obtain prescription privileges in Massachusetts
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
Working Hours
NO weekends
NO on call
