Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - San Francisco, CA

Location: San Francisco, CA
Job Type: Permanent job
Work Setting: On-site
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary Range

$145,000 – $155,000 annually (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care, continuity care, and acute care services

  • Serve as primary care provider for patients within scope of practice

  • Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and interdisciplinary care teams

  • Support clinical coverage through Epic In Basket, including:

    • Reviewing test results

    • Responding to patient messages

    • Processing medication refill requests

  • Mentor and support new and incoming APPs

  • Provide clinical guidance and oversight to APPs on patient care questions

  • Implement evidence-based medicine and adhere to national and internal clinical guidelines

  • Utilize the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to improve workflows, documentation, and compliance

  • Participate in clinical initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and care delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Active California Nurse Practitioner license

  • 5+ years of clinical experience, including 2+ years in Primary Care

  • Ability to function independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking abilities

  • Experience mentoring or precepting APPs strongly preferred
