- Location: Perry, FL
- Schedule :M-F; 8am-5pm or 4-10s

- Licensing: Must hold a valid FL license as a Nurse Practitioner. BLS and DEA must be active. Assistance with credentialing is available.

Job Responsibilities
Perform thorough physical exams based on age, chronic conditions, and facility intake requirements.
Identify health risk factors and evaluate social determinants of health that uniquely impact patients.
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs, X‑rays, and screenings relevant to correctional care (e.g., TB, HIV, hepatitis).
Communicate test results clearly and securely to patients within facility guidelines.
Prescribe medications and treatments, including chronic disease management and acute interventions, within facility protocols and state scope-of-practice laws.
Monitor medication compliance, side effects, and safety in a secure, controlled environment. (Adapted from ability to prescribe and manage meds.)
Provide wellness exams, health screenings, vaccinations, and preventive education tailored to patients.
Counsel patients on disease prevention, hygiene practices, lifestyle adjustments feasible in the facility.
Work with mental health professionals, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated, safe, and comprehensive care.
