Job Overview – Bilingual Nurse Practitioner Supervisor (Primary Care)
Compensation: $81 – $84/hour
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Bilingual Nurse Practitioner Supervisor (Primary Care) in Brooklyn, NY for our client, supporting primary care services for frail and elderly populations. The ideal candidate is a New York–licensed Nurse Practitioner with AANP or ANCC certification, active DEA registration, and bilingual Spanish-English fluency, bringing hands-on primary care experience and the ability to lead clinical teams while delivering high-quality, compliant patient care.

The ideal candidate is a New York–licensed Nurse Practitioner with AANP or ANCC certification, active DEA registration, and bilingual Spanish-English fluency, bringing hands-on primary care experience and the ability to lead clinical teams while delivering high-quality, compliant patient care.
Responsibilities as the Bilingual Nurse Practitioner Supervisor:
- Clinical Leadership & Oversight: Serve as the primary clinical leader at an assigned site, supervising Nurse Practitioners and supporting oversight of clinical staff.
- Comprehensive Patient Care: Perform annual wellness visits and higher-frequency assessments for high-risk participants, managing complex, acute, and chronic conditions in frail and elderly populations.
- Urgent & Transitional Care Management: Provide urgent and same-day care, manage acute condition changes, and complete post-hospital and emergency department follow-ups, including medication reconciliation.
- Care Coordination & Collaboration: Co-manage high-risk participants with PCPs, participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, and oversee individualized care plans across disciplines.
- Supervision, Documentation & Compliance: Manage performance evaluations, mentor clinical staff, and ensure accurate clinical documentation, diagnosis coding, and regulatory compliance.
- Language Requirement: Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
- Education: Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program acceptable to NYSED or certified by a national certifying organization recognized by NYSED.
- Licensure: Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license required.
- Certification: AANP or ANCC board certification required, with active DEA registration and Medicare and Medicaid enrollment.
- Experience: 2+ years of advanced clinical practice experience in primary care, home care, care management, or a related setting, with exposure to complex or geriatric populations preferred.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of electronic clinical documentation systems and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with interdisciplinary care models, chronic disease management, and transitional care strongly preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, leadership capability, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
