Job description
NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide high-quality care to urgent care patients at our Golden, Colorado clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NP looking for flexible scheduling in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
Job Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat urgent care patients of all ages

Diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans

Perform minor procedures and acute care management

Document care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)

Ensure appropriate coding and billing for services rendered
Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Colorado APRN (Nurse Practitioner) license
-
ANCC or AANP certification (Family Nurse Practitioner)
-
Active DEA registration
-
Master’s degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner program)

Active BLS certification
-
Comfortable treating patients of all ages

1+ year of urgent care, ER fast-track, or walk-in clinic experience preferred
-
DOT certification may be required (training provided if not currently certified)
Working Hours
-
Part-time position
-
Minimum commitment of 4 shifts per month

Shifts typically 10–12 hours, depending on clinic needs

Occasional weekends and holidays required

Assigned a home clinic in Golden, CO
-
Occasional floating to nearby NextCare clinics may be required
Compensation
Hourly compensation range: $60–$80, commensurate with experience, credentials, and market factors.

Benefit eligibility for part-time providers varies based on scheduled hours and position and is offered in accordance with company policy and plan rules. Employees of all statuses are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan.
