Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a well-established outpatient primary care clinic. This role is ideal for both new graduates and experienced providers who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment.

The provider will manage a diverse adult patient population, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute condition treatment while working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments

  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based guidelines

  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans

  • Provide preventive care services, health screenings, and patient education

  • Manage chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and cardiovascular diseases

  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests in accordance with state regulations and clinical protocols

  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate care

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

  • Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care as needed

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards

Qualifications:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina

  • Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program

  • Minimum 1 year of experience preferred in Internal Medicine or Primary Care

    • New graduates are encouraged to apply

  • Comfortable managing chronic medical conditions

  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
