Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a well-established outpatient primary care clinic. This role is ideal for both new graduates and experienced providers who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The provider will manage a diverse adult patient population, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute condition treatment while working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based guidelines

Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans

Provide preventive care services, health screenings, and patient education

Manage chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and cardiovascular diseases

Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests in accordance with state regulations and clinical protocols

Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate care

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care as needed

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices

Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards
Qualifications:

Active Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina

Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program

Minimum 1 year of experience preferred in Internal Medicine or Primary Care
