Job description
The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care services across the lifespan. This role includes diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, performing routine health assessments, delivering preventive care, and educating patients to empower them in their health journey. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient, coordinated, and high-quality care.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
• Perform preventive care, routine exams, and health screenings
• Educate patients and families with clear, culturally sensitive communication
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care
• Practice independently while adhering to evidence-based standards
Qualifications
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license and national certification in the state of Michigan
• Strong background in primary care; urgent care experience is a plus
• Solid understanding of billing and coding guidelines
• Ability to diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of medical conditions independently
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience in a clinic or healthcare setting preferred
