Salary: $120,000 – $175,000 per year (based on experience)
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts per week
(On-call phone coverage: 1 weekend every 5 weeks)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established, community-focused primary care practice in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. This role is ideal for a provider who values patient-centered care, autonomy, and collaboration in a supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions in adult and geriatric patients

• Provide comprehensive primary care services in accordance with approved clinical protocols

• Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed

• Assess patient needs for referrals, diagnostics, or hospitalization

• Perform minor procedures and in-house lab work as qualified

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation

• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and follow-up care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance evaluations

• Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Active Idaho NP or PA license (required)

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in primary care

• BLS certification

• DEA and Idaho Controlled Substance Registration

• Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment
