Responsibilities and Duties
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting for primary and urgent care needs
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions across a broad patient population
- Provide preventive care, health education, and wellness counseling
- Perform in office procedures as clinically appropriate
- Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and community resources
- Document all encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with nursing staff, medical assistants, and support teams to ensure high quality patient care
- Adhere to clinical guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Additional Information
- Active CA nurse practitioner license required
- Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
