What You'll Do
It is the responsibility of every Novant Health team member to deliver the most remarkable patient experience in every dimension, every time.
**Diagnose and manage perimenopausal and postmenopausal symptoms using FDA-approved hormonal and non-hormonal therapies.
Interpret labs and imaging, formulate evidence-based treatment plans, and adjust therapy in collaboration with supervising physician.
Counsel patients on bone health, weight management, sexual wellness, cognitive changes, and cardiovascular risk prevention.
Provide education on the risks and benefits of hormone therapy, sleep optimization, stress reduction, and lifestyle interventions.
Perform in-office procedures as trained (IUD insertion/removal, endometrial biopsy, pessary fitting, Pap smear).
Document thoroughly and efficiently in Epic EMR.
What We're Looking For
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) program.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience providing direct patient care in a women's health, OB/GYN, internal medicine, or primary care setting. Prior training or experience in women's health or midlife medicine to ensure readiness for the specialized evaluation and management of perimenopausal and postmenopausal patients, including hormone therapy, complex symptom management, and preventive care aligned with evidence-based menopause guidelines.
Licensure/Certifications: Current NP, PA, or CNM license in the appropriate state(s) of practice. National certification (AANP/ANCC for NPs, NCCPA for PAs, AMCB for CNMs). Current DEA registration and BLS certification
Additional Skills Required: Ability to prescribe and manage controlled substances in accordance with state and federal regulations.
