Our client, a reputable healthcare organization specializing in pain management and orthopedic care, is hiring a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Pain Management to join their dedicated team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on providing comprehensive pain relief solutions, with a primary emphasis on trigger injections, IV injections, and other interventional pain management techniques. As a Nurse Practitioner in this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse patient caseload, performing procedures, and collaborating closely with physicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. The position involves traveling to multiple NYC locations, with a schedule that offers flexibility, including options for both full-time and part-time work, and a focus on building long-term patient relationships within a collaborative team setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Administer trigger injections, IV therapies, and other pain management procedures.
- Document patient interactions accurately using EMR systems.
- Travel between NYC locations, approximately three sites per week, ensuring timely care delivery.
- Work closely with the physician who is responsible for prescribing controlled substances.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to pain management practices.
- Participate in team meetings and continual professional development activities.
Requirements
- Experience: 4-5 years of experience in pain management or orthopedic care.
- Skills: Strong procedural skills in trigger injections and IV therapies; excellent patient communication; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications: Current Nurse Practitioner license
- Other: Comfort traveling within NYC via subway
