Jamestown, California – Outpatient, M–F | 13-week contract with option to extend

Mathiesen Memorial Health Clinic is seeking a mission-driven Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our primary care team serving patients of all ages in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. This is an opportunity to provide high-quality care in a supportive, community-focused setting—without the pressure of high patient volume or weekend demands.

What You’ll Do

Provide comprehensive primary care for patients across the lifespan

Perform exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and create evidence-based treatment plans

Manage chronic conditions and support preventive care initiatives

Deliver culturally sensitive education and wellness counseling

Document accurately within the clinic’s EHR

Participate in quality improvement and clinic-wide care initiatives
What We’re Looking For

Active California NP and RN licenses
-
FNP board certification (AANP/ANCC)
-
DEA & furnishing license (or willingness to obtain)
-
Current BLS; ACLS preferred

Experience with tribal communities or underserved populations is a plus

Exceptional communication skills and patient-centered mindset
