Job description We are seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 7-day locum tenens assignment in Iowa, starting Jan 22, 2026. This role involves day shifts, Monday through Friday, providing care in a rural health clinic that serves a broad patient population. Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide full-scope family medicine care to patients in a rural health clinic setting
  • Evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions across all age groups
  • Collaborate with on-site services including lab, mental health, medical imaging, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and women’s health
  • Coordinate patient care with dental, vision, and pharmacy services located within the facility
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Adhere to clinic protocols and standards of care

Additional Information
  • Iowa NP license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Prior experience in ER and family practice settings strongly preferred
