Job description We are seeking a Spanish-speaking Family Nurse Practitioner for a 24-week locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins Jan 5, 2026, and features a focused two-day schedule: Fridays from 8am to 5pm and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. The ideal candidate is paneled with CA Medical and ORP, experienced in rural health, and committed to quality metrics and preventative care.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide primary care services in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting
  • Manage rural health aspects and address multiple (3+) complaints per patient visit
  • Deliver patient-centered preventative care and monitor quality metrics
  • Utilize expertise with rural populations to meet diverse patient needs
  • Communicate effectively in Spanish with patients and staff

  • Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in California
