Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide health care services to its pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient populations at its outpatient practice in Edmeston, NY.

Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and services to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

Edmeston is located in Otsego County; 40 miles south of Utica, New York. The area is abundant with four season cultural and recreational activities including cross-country skiing, hunting, hiking, biking, camping, museums, theater, and much more.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Edmeston-Burlington Health Center is a (NYS) Patient-Centered Medical Home recognized through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home standards emphasize the use of systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care that supports access, communication and patient involvement.
• Join an established group, currently practicing in Primary Care: 1 full-time MD, 1 FNP-BC and 1 ANP-C.
• Close relationship with Pathfinder Village, an internationally known group living facility for adults with Down Syndrome
• Traditional Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
• Opportunity for 4/10-hour shifts, 7 AM – 5 PM
• Full spectrum case mix and diverse patient population
• Collaborative Working Environment
• Loan Repayment may be available through Federal and State programs
• EMR-EPIC
• Salary Range: $104,040 - $133,699. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.

• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• NYS Licensure
