Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the sole provider delivering comprehensive primary care for all age groups, with an emphasis on geriatric patients
- Manage primary care cases independently within the clinic setting
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and follow-up care
- Prescribe medications and coordinate with specialists as needed
- Provide preventive care, health education, and chronic disease management
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Uphold clinical protocols and quality standards
Additional Information
- Must hold an active nurse practitioner license in Maine
- Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Board certification in Family Medicine required
- Significant experience in primary care and geriatrics expected; new graduates will not be considered due to solo provider responsibilities
