We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia, starting Dec 15, 2025. This role offers a four-day workweek, either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, with 40-hour shifts. The practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, focusing on both acute and chronic conditions in an employee health setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide primary care for employee health, including chronic care management, anxiety, and depression
- Manage onsite urgent care cases such as chemical burns, suturing, and workplace injuries
- Deliver care to patients of all ages
- Perform thorough patient assessments and appropriate treatment planning
- Document all encounters accurately in the Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Additional Information
- Must hold an active Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
- Minimum of 2 recent years of true primary care experience required
- Must be certified in Family Medicine and hold Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
- Must possess an active DEA certification
- Prior experience with Epic EMR is preferred
- Training period of 2-3 days ideally the week prior to start
