- Schedule: 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday, plus on-call weekend and weeknight coverage. Assignment dates include Feb 16-Mar 9, 2026; Jun 30-Aug 14, 2026; Nov 13-Dec 31, 2026 (will book into 2027).
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assess and manage patient health in a primary care setting
- Deliver care in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to seasonal patient volume
- Serve as the sole provider or work independently as needed
- Complete patient documentation using Cerner EMR
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and care quality
Additional Information
- Alaska licensure required
- Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
- Orientation/shadowing required prior to start; process may be expedited based on assignment urgency
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred, with comfort in autonomous practice environments
