Position: Nurse Practitioner – Veterans Disability Exams
Location: Orlando, Florida
Schedule: 4x10s (Tues–Fri or Wed–Sat)
Pay: ~$130,000 annual salary
Type: Full-time, Contract

Join a mission-driven healthcare team performing Veterans Disability Compensation & Pension (C&P) Exams in Orlando, FL. In this rewarding non-treatment role, you’ll evaluate Veterans’ medical conditions and document findings for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Responsibilities

Perform focused medical exams and detailed history reviews

Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and Medical Opinions in a secure EMR system

Provide clear communication and compassionate interaction with each Veteran

Submit completed charts within 24–48 hours

Maintain accuracy and professionalism at all times

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (FL or compact state)

Master’s degree required

Prior VA or disability assessment experience preferred
